Art Commissions!
Hey there! Would you like me to draw you your very own personalized picture? Let's work something out!
Here are my commission rates per product:
- Pencils: US$10-$30 , based on complexity.
- Pens: US$20-$50 , based on complexity.
- Colors: US$40-$80 , based on complexity. (Colored in Photoshop...More options later?)
- More elaborate?: If you would like a piece that requires more than 12 hours of effort, you might consider my going rate of US$7/Hour.
With that, you will receive the electronic, full resolution image/scan. If you wish to have original artwork sent to you via postal mail, I can do so for US$3 additionally (for shipping). I'll save the image on my hard drive, so in case you lose it in the future, you can request it from me.
Directions:
- Once you decide what you would like, please email me with the following info:
- Your name, contact info (e.g. your mailing address if you wish to have the originals sent to you).
- What your desired product style (e.g. pencils, pens..)
- Description of the content, and other specifications (file dimensions, style, etc.). Please be as detailed and specific as you need; the more we both agree/understand what the commission should look like, the better off both of us are in the long run.
- If you have image references/photos, you can attach them in your email too, or link to them on the internet. Please keep everything under 5MB.
- I will get back to you promptly, to negotiate a price and date at which I can finish the commission for you.
- If everything sounds good, we'll go ahead with the commission! At this point, I would like you to pay for the commission via Paypal (I will give you instructions).
- Once I get the payment notification, I'll get crackin'! Just sit back and wait! I'll refrain from accepting the payment until you receive everything you asked for in your hands and give the thumbs up.
Rules and other things you should be aware of:
- Unfortunately, since I work full time and have other projects of my own, I may not be able to accept commissions depending on how many I already have or how much free time I have. I will of course discuss with you realistic finish dates. If anything, I could put your request on reserve, and when I do eventually find the time, I will let you know (you will not need to commit or pay anything until then).
- I will only do commissions that I consider unoffensive or within my tastes. Of course, you're always welcome and encouraged to inquire me about your ideas. I will tell you right off the bat whether or not I can do it. Sometimes I can't accept some commissions simply because I don't think I have the skill to do it! Bottom line is, asking is free and I'll never hold that against you! You can visit my DeviantArt site to get a better idea of the things I can put together.
- I'm happy to draw your own original characters, make one up based on your specifications, or create fanart from popular anime series; I can also draw you or your friends! I'll even do landscapes and object designs.
- All work produced will be dual ownership. You have the right to post, distribute, manipulate or sell the image/artwork under your discretion, and I would appreciate if you allowed me to do the same. Please keep in mind that proper credit to the artist/creators still must be maintained at all times.
